Supplier diversity has become an essential part of public and private sector procurement strategies. Companies taking a proactive approach to supplier diversity are seeing major commercial benefits on top of the wider societal benefits it has in tackling inequality. Engaging diverse suppliers and lowering the barriers that inhibit them also achieves targeted public sector outcomes such as 'tackling economic inequality' which, is named in the government’s Social Value Model.
In this event, expert speakers will guide attendees through some of the key principles of supplier diversity and give practical advice that will help them create the most impact through their supply chains. There will be a particular focus on the intersection of supplier diversity and social procurement and how taking a combined approach creates the most value socially and commercially.
